On my Youtube Series Unboxing Betty, I'm cooking my way through Betty Crocker's 1971 Recipe Card Library and exploring food corporations impact on American culture.

The vintage recipe card box is very emblematic of 1970s culture, and has everything from Betty's signature cakes and desserts, appetizers, snacks, every meal of the day, ideas for every party imaginable, food themed gifts, and more.

Betty Crocker turned 100 years old in 2021, and over the past century, her mission has been the same: to teach women how to cook, and how to keep a happy home. Although the woman's role in the home has changed, I love to cook, and I think Betty's mission to share love through food still resonates today.
